The recent update to LANCOM myVPN, version 1.4, includes a modification to the "Impressum" text, reflecting an attention to detail in legal and informational content.

Version 1.3 brought notable improvements such as enhanced compatibility with both 32-bit and 64-bit systems, alongside a fix for a language display bug. This version also introduced a new label for easier identification, updated registration numbers, and further refinement of the "Impressum" text, contributing to a more polished user experience.

The application is designed to provide a streamlined setup process for establishing secure IPSec VPN connections to LANCOM VPN gateways. The update to version 1.2 added backward compatibility with iOS 5x and 6x, support for iOS 7.1, and support for newer Apple devices including iPad Air and iPad mini Retina, thus broadening device compatibility for professional users.

Version 1.1 enhancements included support for iOS 7, compatibility with iPhone 5(S), high-resolution graphics optimized for Retina displays, configurable HTTPS ports, and various usability improvements—all aimed at supporting mobile work environments. These updates ensure reliable and flexible remote access to corporate networks from a variety of devices and locations.

LANCOM myVPN is tailored for employees requiring secure remote access to their corporate network during travel. The app simplifies the configuration of IPSec VPN connections to LANCOM routers, enabling access to corporate applications from external locations such as hotels, home offices, or client sites. Users can securely manage emails or exchange sensitive data with colleagues remotely.

Configuration is designed to be straightforward: with just a few steps, the app sets up the integrated VPN client on iOS devices by automatically retrieving configuration parameters from the linked LANCOM router through a simple PIN entry. This eliminates the need for extensive IT expertise and reduces administrative overhead.
